1 cup butter
1 8-oz. package cream cheese
1 Tbs milk
1 Tbs sugar
1 egg yolk, beaten
1 1/2 cups flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
pastry filling (prune, cherry, apricot, strawberry, raspberry, blueberry)
Preheat oven to 400 °F.
Cream butter, cream cheese, milk, and sugar; add egg yolk. Sift together flour and baking powder; add to creamed mixture.
Refrigerate 4 hours; roll out dough to 1/4-inch thickness, cut circles using biscuit cutter. Place circles of dough on cookie sheet; place spoonful of filling in the middle of each circle. Bake 10-15 minutes; remove
from cookie sheets, dust with powdered sugar.
